Hi! I'm Milwaukee Wedding Officiant, Schwa Potter

"My wife and I were married by Schwa and our expectations were blown away! Everything about our experience was honestly perfect." - Erika T.

Meet Schwa Potter
Hi, I'm Schwa Potter. I'm a professional actor, Broadway veteran, and ordained minister who has been officiating weddings since 2015.
Your ceremony is the first moment of your celebration. It sets the tone for everything that follows. I believe it should have your guests feeling the love, ready to laugh, shedding a tear, and excited to party all night long. Whether you're planning a quick elopement or a unique and original ceremony, I handle the details so you can focus on each other.
Known professionally in the theater world as Shua Potter, I performed in Mary Poppins on Broadway and have 30+ years of stage experience. I bring that same poise, projection, and presence to your wedding (minus the stage fright).

What Couples Are Saying
"Multiple people asked us how long we had known Schwa, which is a true testament to how thorough he was when gathering information about us and our story. The whole process was easy and care-free. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding officiant!" - Connor
"Schwa's ability to customize the ceremony to reflect our relationship and personalities made our special day completely unforgettable. What stood out most was how he tailored every element to fit us as a couple. He took the time to understand our story and what mattered to us, then crafted a ceremony that felt authentic and personal rather than generic." - Amera
"Many weddings are somber and traditional but we wanted a wedding filled with laughter and humor and we got exactly what we wanted. Thank you for making our day so incredibly memorable!" - Tyler
"Schwa was the perfect option for an officiant for our short & sweet wedding ceremony. We cannot recommend him enough!" - Hailey
"My son got married at the Pilot House at Discovery World on 10/21/23. Schwa was the officiant. The ceremony was so beautiful, fun and warm. Many of our guests asked if Schwa was a friend of my son's. I told them that I found him on the internet! They were shocked! Even the flower vendor told me he teared up listening to the ceremony from the back." - Carolyn S, Mother of the Groom
